Our Albiano plant is situated in the Industrial Zone of
the town of Albiano Magra, near Aulla in the province
of Massa Carrara. The plant stands in an area of approximately
65.000 Sqm. The considerable size of this area allows
us to keep consistent stocks of various types of products,
in order to satisfy all our customers’ requirements
even those with very short lead times.
This plant, which was acquired in 2005, was completely
modernized in 2006, and can now produce approximately
250,000 tonnes per annum of white Carrara marble chips
and powders. Furthermore the plant is equipped with a
bagging facility for orders which require packing in IBCs
(“Big bags”).
The plant is logistically well positioned to accommodate
all manner of transport services both by road –
being in the vicinity of the A12 Genoa/Leghorn motorway
(Exit at La Spezia/Santo Stefano), as well as for shipments
by sea – with easy access to the ports of Marina
di Carrara and La Spezia.
